Sliding windows, also known as gliding windows, sliders, or pocket sliders, operate horizontally with one sash sliding in a pocket past the other to provide ventilation. The sashes glide on brass rollers to provide easier and smoother operation. Many modern and ranch style homes are designed using the slider window style. The sashes may be lifted out of the pocket for cleaning without a ladder. When in the locked position, the sashes are secure and cannot be removed.

A two-lite slider, also referred to as a two section slider, has two equally sized sashes. Each sash operates to allow for ventilation from either side of the unit.
A three-lite slider, also referred to as a three section slider, has a fixed center sash with an operative sash on both sides. The fixed center sash may be twice the width of the two operative sashes in a 1/4 – 1/2 – 1/4 configuration. Alternatively, all three sashes can have the same width in a 1/3 – 1/3 – 1/3 configuration.
Positive: Quality, Responsiveness, Value
super professional installation process, great sales process, these guys really know what they’re doing. Good communication through the whole process and they were done sooner than they told us. Whole house full of replacements and we couldn’t be happier, highly recommend for any size project. When they say and easy, no pressure sales process, they mean it.
Aaron priced us triple pane high efficiency windows for the same price as basic, lower quality double panes from other companies. Installation was quick and communication good throughout the process. I’d recommend them for any window needs!
